UVC light sanitizes only surfaces that it comes into contact with during radiation. It cannot penetrate opaque, solid objects. You can sanitize a wide variety of food items and daily essentials including milk packets, groceries, vegetables, fruits, kitchen utensils, bottles, baby care products, toys, keys, remote controls, clothes, slippers and many more.

Its beneficial to use UV-C light for food sanitization as it does not leave any residue chemicals in treated food and proves lethal to a majority of germs (viruses, bacteria, and fungi).

Yes, all electronic devices can be disinfected using SafeQube

No, UV-C light may cause structural changes in the medicines which may alter the drug composition. It’s not recommended to use SafeQube for sterilizing medicines.

Yes. SafeQube helps reduce surface to human infection in hospitals and laboratoriesHealthcare teams can use our sterilization boxes available in varying capacities to decontaminate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including N95 Mask, eye Goggles, face shields for reuse.

Our highly reflective chamber can also support flash sterilization of medical equipment and parts to prevent surface to human transmission from intubation tube and other reusable inventory in hospitals

The long-term exposure of UVC light will shorten the shelf life of plastics. Plants can be damaged by direct, or reflected, germicidal ultraviolet rays. Transient dyes and colours may fade from prolonged exposure to UV-C light.

disinfection cycle for duration of 10 minutes is sufficient enough to sanitize and disinfect all objects. However, it depends on the object being placed for disinfection.

The germicidal activity is maximum at 253.7 nm of UV-C light radiation.

Cleaning is not required after every usage. The whole chamber including the surfaces and UV-C lamps should be cleaned every month.

UV-C lamps have a lifespan of 11,000 hours or 12 months. Its generally recommended to change the UV-C lamps after the recommended period. However, it will last for many years when used for 1 hour or less during daily usage
